Adjusted for non-recurring items, operating profit was 434 million euros, compared with an expected 372 million, according to Bloomberg.
Net revenue rose 8 percent to EUR 4.8 billion.
In the interim report, Nokia adjusts its forecast for full-year profit to EUR 2.1-2.6 billion, up from EUR 2.0-2.5 billion in the previous forecast.
