Finnish telecoms company Nokia, a competitor of Ericsson, reported an operating profit of 534 million euros for the fourth quarter. This was in line with expectations but a decrease compared to the same period last year, when the telecoms company made a profit of 746 million euros.
Sales increased by 3 percent compared to the same period last year to EUR 6,125 million. The operating margin fell to 8.8 percent from 14.4 percent.
The telecommunications company's board of directors proposes a dividend of EUR 0.14 per share.
