Kitchen manufacturer Nobia has agreed to sell its UK operations - with brands such as Magnet, Gower, Commodore and CIE. The buyer is funds managed by Alteri Partners, according to a Nobia press release.

"The divestment increases Nobia's focus on markets where the Company has strong brands, clear positions, structurally higher margins and a production network centered around Nobia Park," Nobia writes.

The UK operation had a turnover of SEK 4.4 billion during the twelve-month period ending in September last year. However, the operation's turnover fell by SEK 108 million during the period.

"By concentrating the group on its Nordic core markets, Nobia strives to strengthen its margins and operational focus," Nobia writes.

"The transaction may result in a consideration linked to the buyer's future performance and successful restructuring of the UK business," Nobia adds.
