The artwork on City Hall usually attracts the most attention. This year’s light installation on the facade, “Together Forward”, highlights cancer research.
Green-shimmering laser beams also shine from the top of City Hall, connecting various places associated with the Nobel Prizes: the Concert Hall, where the prizes are awarded; the Grand Hôtel, where the laureates stay; the Nobel Prize Museum in the Old Town; and Slussen, the site of a future Nobel Center.

The light installation "Nobel today and tomorrow" connects places associated with Nobel Week.
This year, the light festival is also taking place in the Stockholm suburb of Tensta. Visitors can, among other things, step onto the interactive light carpet “Interweave” and influence its pattern through their movements.
The light festival runs from 5 to 13 December, and the installations can be seen every day from 4 to 10 pm.
