The new sentence means she will serve six years in prison for participating in illegal gatherings. In addition, she will serve a year and a half for charges of spreading propaganda against the country's Islamist rule, according to lawyer Mostafa Nili.
The sentence also includes a two-year ban on leaving the country and a two-year exile to South Khorasan province in eastern Iran.
Mohammadi is reported to be in poor condition after ending a week-long hunger strike.
The 53-year-old was arrested in Mashhad in December. She had already spent much of the past ten years in an Iranian prison.
She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2023 for her fight for human rights.
