Nobel Prize winner Svetlana Aleksijevitj will be one of the author guests at the Book of the Year and hiking in Jäckvik, reports Arjeplognytt.se. This year's book hiking festival takes place on 17–20 July and Aleksijevitj will have a conversation with her Swedish translator Kajsa Öberg Lindsten based on the book "Tiden second hand".
She is one of my dream guests, and her stories are more relevant than ever, says the organizer Maria Söderberg to Arjeplognytt.se.
Among the other author guests so far are also Gustav "Rävjägarn" Bergström, Lisa Alexandrova-Zorina and Sergej Lebedev. During the festival, literary conversations are combined with hikes in the mountain world.
