No Winter Olympics for Marit Björgen after family illness

The Norwegian ski team will have to do without legendary Marit Björgen at the Winter Olympics. Björgen, now a coach, has been forced to withdraw because of a family illness, Norwegian TV 2 reports.

Björgen joined the Norwegian coaching team for the 2024/25 season. As an active athlete, she won eight Olympic gold medals and four Olympic silver medals.
