There will be no specially written winning song in the "Idol" finale this year.

This year's finale in TV4's talent show takes place on Saturday, December 6, but this year the finalists will not sing a specially written winning song, as has been done since the program started in 2004.

The finalists will instead sing three songs: one of their own choice, one of the jury's choices, and one song they have sung earlier in the fall.

It feels very natural to try something new, says Malin Knave, executive producer of the program to TV4 Nyheterna.

Tuva Råwall, Love Hedlund Stenmarck and Nicolina-Mercedes Brandström compete for victory in the program.
