Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi, Italy, becomes the fourth referee.
Swedish referee duo Tess Olofsson and Almira Spahic have refereed several matches in the European Championship. After two group matches, they refereed the quarterfinal between France and Germany, a chaotic match where they had to handle penalties, red cards and disallowed goals.
Tess Olofsson was then selected as the fourth referee for the semifinal between Germany and Spain.
