Danish-Swedish Paludan, who attracted attention for burning Korans, was initially sentenced to four months in prison by Malmö District Court. This was changed by the Court of Appeal to a suspended sentence and daily fines for incitement against a group of people during a street meeting in September 2022.
He appealed to the Supreme Court, which has now announced that he will not be granted leave to appeal.
