29-year-old Høiby wanted to serve the rest of his detention on the Crown Prince and Crown Princess's estate, Skaugum, which has now been rejected.
In a debate article published in Nettavisen, the "bonus prince" criticizes Wednesday's court hearings.
"This is so absurd and unreasonable that I lack words to express my frustration," he writes, and continues: "It's obvious to me that the judge had already made up his mind before I could say what I wanted."
The decision will be appealed.
Høiby has been in custody since early February and is charged with 40 crimes, including several counts of rape. Sentencing is expected in June.
