The prosecutors had demanded that the companies be convicted of a felony, and that a third company, Mekosmos AB, be convicted as well. Despite this, they are content with the district court's verdict.
"We will not appeal. It was a conviction generally in line with what we had alleged," says prosecutor Christer B Jarlås.
None of the plaintiffs are appealing, and the district court's verdict will therefore stand.
A woman died and several people were injured in the Jetline accident on June 25, 2023.
