With the two new names, a maximum of 25 players have been registered for Sweden's World Cup squad. On Thursday, Aftonbladet wrote that Buffalo's star defender Rasmus Dahlin has declined to play in the World Cup and now the defender Tim Heed, who plays professionally in Switzerland, is being added to the squad.
Södertälje's 19-year-old Love Härenstam was part of the team that won the Junior World Cup last winter and now takes his place in the squad as third goalkeeper behind Magnus Hellberg and Arvid Söderblom.
Tonight, Sweden faces Italy. Tre Kronor has six points after two wins and two losses.
