The police have not found reason to initiate a preliminary investigation against Bravida after Örnsköldsvik municipality's police report, writes the installation company in a press release.

Örnsköldsvik municipality reported Bravida to the police on May 19 and accused the company of having overcharged the municipality and municipal companies to a total value of 8.9 million kronor.

"The decision from the police was expected. We have a dialogue with the customer and look forward to continuing it. As previously communicated, we regret that we have been forced to take this dialogue public", says Liselotte Stray, communications manager at Bravida, according to the press release.

Region Skåne demanded in the spring to get back 11.4 million kronor from Bravida after an extended review that showed the company's over-invoicing had been more extensive than previously known.

Last year, it was revealed that Bravida had inflated its invoices to Region Skåne by just over two million kronor, which led to three executives at the company being prosecuted for gross fraud.
