A year has passed since FIS announced that it would introduce gender tests. The idea was to develop an "eligibility policy" that would be tested in conjunction with the World Championships in Falun in February-March next year, writes DN.
But that is not how it will be.
A policy will be communicated once the following have been decided: a start date, who will perform the tests and who will pay for them, Sassi says.
