Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought the Welsh club Wrexham during the 2020–2021 season, and the team has since advanced from the fifth division to the second division, The Championship.
On Saturday, the club was on the verge of sending Chelsea out of the FA Cup. The home team held leads of 1–0 and 2–1, but an unfortunate own goal and a passive defensive effort allowed the London club to equalize twice.
