Human remains were found last weekend near a beach in Hässelby villa town in northwestern Stockholm. Now, the police announce that there is no suspicion of crime, reports P4 Stockholm.
A preliminary investigation into murder was initiated in connection with the discovery, but the suspicions have now been dropped. The person, who has now been identified, had been missing for a longer period. There is neither suspicion of crime in connection with the disappearance nor the person's death.
On the same day as the discovery in Hässelby, human body parts were found in a forest area outside Märsta north of Stockholm. The identification work is still ongoing there.
