It is a reconnaissance murder, says prosecutor Kristina Wedelsbäck.
The man, who was in his 80s, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he was found dead.
It can be anything from a lone madman who had nothing to do with this person, to revenge for something or that it's about money, says the prosecutor.
The man was killed through violence against the body and it happened either just outside the residence or inside the residence, where he was found.
