Nintendo was down 8.4 percent at the close of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Monday, and has thus fallen 34 percent this year.
That was the market's response to the company's announcement on Friday that it would raise prices for the Switch 2 game console in the US, Canada, Japan and Europe.
In Europe, the price in the company's online store is being increased to 499.99 euros (just over 5,400 SEK), compared to the previous price of 469.99 euros.
