The company gave few details about the game when it was revealed during a livestream of upcoming titles, but Ocarina of Time will launch for the Switch 2 sometime later this year, marking the series' 40th anniversary.
“Ocarina of Time” was originally released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64. It broke new ground as the first 3D game in the series and has been hailed as one of the best games of all time.
The game follows the series' recurring hero Link, both as a child and an adult, in his fight to save Princess Zelda and the kingdom from the evil Ganondorf.
