Twelve people, including nine children, have died in a fire in Kazakhstan, according to authorities and media there.
The fire broke out in a private two-story house in the small town of Algabas, next to the country's southern border with Uzbekistan.
When firefighters arrived, the building was fully engulfed in flames, according to media reports. Three unconscious people were taken out of the building and handed over to medical care. Neighbors told Kazakh media that the household had many guests because they had a party the night before the fire.
