Nina Koppang, 22, missed the European Championship in handball in December due to a meniscus injury that required surgery.
But now the right-back is approaching her comeback as she is included in the squad for this week's national team matches against Romania (Thursday and Saturday) in Nyköping and Örebro, respectively.
However, only in training as she is not yet ready for match play, announces the National Handball Team.
Koppang recently changed club teams to Team Esbjerg after her former club Vipers Kristiansand went bankrupt. She has 38 national team matches on her CV.
Noteworthy is also that middle six Linn Blohm is leaving the squad for private reasons.
