Nile Rodgers to Headline Avicii Benefit Concert in Stockholm

Nile Rodgers and Tjuvjakt will be the big names at this year's For a better day concert for the benefit of Avicii's foundation in Stockholm on December 3.

It will be the third year the For a better day concert is held in Avicii arena. The artist Ida-Lova and the comedian Christoffer Nyqvist are hosting the gala which also offers performances by, among others, Tjuvjakt, Seinabo Sey, Sarah Kling and Killen.

For a better day is arranged by Tim Bergling Foundation, which was founded by Avicii's parents Klas Bergling and Anki Lidén in memory of their son to promote children's and young people's mental health.

In addition to founding the classic disco group Chic in the late 1970s, Nile Rodgers produced several major hits for artists such as Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and David Bowie. He got to know Avicii in 2012 and the duo collaborated on the hit song "Lay me down".
