Artists Niklas Strömstedt and Sylvia Vrethammar, together with opera singer Ingela Brimberg and actors Fares Fares and Andreas T Olsson, will receive the Litteris et Artibus medal from the King.
They are being awarded for "outstanding artistic contributions" to music and the performing arts.
Mika Romanus, director of the Swedish Arts Council, and cultural journalist and professor Ingrid Elam will instead receive medals in the Order of the Seraphim.
