The Gerard Bonnier Prize is awarded annually to an author who is "active within the Academy's area of interest".
Niklas Rådström, born 1953, is a writer, poet and playwright, member of Samfundet De Nio and professor of creative writing.
He has previously been awarded the August Prize for the novel "While Time Thinks of Other Things", the Swedish Library Association's Aniarapris and the Selma Lagerlöf Foundation's Literature Prize.
