Russia's invasion war and Ukraine's response to it continue – in the shadow of the US-led negotiations on a presumed ceasefire.
During the night to Thursday, several areas in Ukraine were attacked, mainly with drones, including Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk. In Kherson, a 42-year-old woman was killed, according to the regional defense.
Russia, on its part, claims to have shot down 77 Ukrainian drones, 30 of them over the border region of Bryansk. Drone attacks also occurred against, among other places, Kursk, Rostov, and Belgorod, according to the Defense Ministry in Moscow.
