Rögle's Daniel Zaar has to undergo surgery and will be out for at least half a year, writes the Ängelholm club. Therefore, it is doubtful whether the forward will play any more ice hockey this season.
Zaar injured himself in the training match against Oskarshamn almost two weeks ago. Last season, he scored seven goals in the playoffs when Rögle reached the SM final.
Rögle will also have to do without Dennis Everberg for a while. According to HD, Everberg injured his thumb in last weekend's SHL premiere against Färjestad and will therefore be out for an indefinite period of time.
