The attacks have been ongoing against targets in the northeastern parts of the country in recent days.
Among those killed is the terrorist movement's second-highest leader, Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, US President Donald Trump announced this weekend.
The northern parts of Nigeria are plagued by jihadist groups and other criminal gangs who attack villages and carry out mass kidnappings.
According to the UN, over 40,000 people have been killed and about two million displaced since the extremist group Boko Haram began its insurgency in 2009.
