Nibe jumps as Stockholm Stock Exchange rises 0.9 percent

A sharp increase in profitability in the company's quarterly report sent Nibe shares up 8.8 percent.

Among the most traded stocks on the OMXS30 index, mining company Boliden also performed strongly, up 4.9 percent, while engineering company Sandvik climbed 3.3 percent.

At the other end of the scale were defence group Saab, down 1.7 percent, and the telecommunications operators Tele2 and Telia, down 0.4 and 0.2 percent, respectively.

At the close in Stockholm, the stock exchanges in Frankfurt, London and Paris were also clearly up, as were all three major indices on the New York Stock Exchange.

The rise in oil prices is slowing. A barrel of North Sea oil costs just over $94 after rising 0.4 percent during the day.
