The most recent Olympic tournament with NHL players saw Canada as the gold winner after the final victory over Sweden.

+ Florida is chasing a third in a row.
No team has won more than two Stanley Cup titles in a row since New York Islanders won four in a row, 1980-83. Now Florida Panthers are chasing their third title in a row after the two most recent years' final victories over Edmonton.
Swedish back clip Gustav Forsling and his team start the season, however, with two of their biggest stars long-term injured. Finnish center star and team captain Aleksander Barkov may miss the entire season due to a knee injury and evil and point-strong Matthew Tkachuk is according to the prognosis away until December.
+ McDavid is chasing victory – but in which team?
Superstar Connor McDavid, 28, continues to chase his first Stanley Cup title after the two most recent years' final losses. But will it also be with Edmonton? McDavid's contract expires after the season and he has not yet extended it. This has led to speculation, especially since McDavid has been saying that he "leaves all options open".
The latest rumor is about Toronto, according to Sporting News, for next season. McDavid is from Richmond Hill outside Toronto.
Edmonton or another interested party must, however, pay up. Kirill Kaprizov's record contract with Minnesota last week is worth 1.28 billion kronor over eight years, 160 million kronor per season.
+ NHL to Sweden.
The NHL returns to Sweden when Nashville and Pittsburgh meet in two matches at the Globen (Avicii Arena) in Stockholm on November 14 and 16. It will be a meeting with two major Tre Kronor stars in each team – Filip Forsberg in Nashville and Erik Karlsson in Pittsburgh.

Now he is with from the start of the season for the first time since 2021. The Colorado captain is pre-nominated for the Tre Kronor Olympic team and a Landeskog in old good shape is a huge asset for the national team.
But will the knee hold for the frequent match play in the NHL?
+ Traded twice – NHL debut with Nashville?
Forward talent David Edstrom, 20, is one of the new Swedish NHL players. He left Frölunda in the spring and is now trying to take a place in Nashville. Despite not having played a match, Nashville is his third NHL club.
