Florida back Adam Boqvist is changing clubs, again. He is thus leaving his brother Jesper to play for New York Islanders, who confirm the transfer.
The two were reunited in Florida before this season when big brother Jesper, 26, came from Boston and 24-year-old Adam came from Columbus. Little brother moved to Columbus in 2021 after two seasons in Chicago. He has not played any matches since the beginning of January.
He needs to play matches and that's what he wants, says Florida coach Paul Maurice and adds that Adam Boqvist will now get to do in NHL club Islanders.
