Neymar will stay in Santos for the rest of the year, confirms the club.
The former Barcelona player has signed a six-month contract with the Brazilian football club.
"I made a decision and listened to my heart. Santos is not just my team, it's my home, my roots, my history and my life", says Neymar in a statement.
The 33-year-old joined his childhood club Santos at the beginning of the year, after a tough stint in Saudi Arabian Al Hilal marked by injuries.
Prior to that, Neymar played in Paris Saint-Germain.
