A 19th-century castle, where a night can cost up to 117,000 kronor, is the filming location for the upcoming season of the hit series "The White Lotus".

Season four of HBO's award-winning series will take place in Saint-Tropez, France. The luxury hotel that the characters will primarily stay at is Château de La Messardière, reports Variety.

Anyone who wants to book a room at the luxury hotel among the cypresses in mid-July can shell out between approximately 461,000 and 700,000 kronor for five nights – the hotel's minimum booking length.

It could get more expensive. Soon after the premiere episode of the third season of “The White Lotus,” which took place in Thailand, several luxury resorts reported increased revenue.

It is still unclear when the new season might be released. Filming is expected to begin in the first half of 2026.

"The White Lotus" premiered on HBO during the pandemic in the summer of 2021, starring Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Sydney Sweeney and Jennifer Coolidge. The series was set in Hawaii.

The second season starring Coolidge, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza and Meghann Fahy premiered in the fall of 2022 and was set in Italy.

Jon Gries and Natasha Rothwell returned from the first season, and Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan and Parker Posey are the best-known names in the third season, which was released in February 2025 and took place in Thailand.
