Jesper Svensson, who is making his debut on the PGA tour, mixed highs and lows in the third round of the competition in Hawaii. It resulted in five birdies but also four bogeys and a shared 20th place ahead of Sunday's final round.
The 28-year-old Svensson, from Uppsala, completed the round in 68 strokes and has a total of 202 strokes so far. The leader, American JJ Spaun, completed the round in 65 strokes and is at 197 strokes ahead of the final round.
The two remaining Swedish players, Vincent Norrman and Henrik Norlander, also completed the round in 68 strokes, but have needed a total of 204 and 205 strokes respectively so far.
