Alexander Isak has been rumored to leave Newcastle with interest from both Liverpool and Al-Hilal. He was left out of the match squad during Saturday's training match against Celtic and now Newcastle coach Eddie Howe comments on the rumors.
It was my decision (to leave him out). He traveled to Glasgow with us, but I decided to send him home because of all the speculation, says Eddie Howe to Sky Sports.
He continues:
The last thing I wanted was for him to sit in the stands and watch, it would not have been fair to him. But I am confident that he will be a Newcastle player at the end of the transfer window.
