The company whose helicopter crashed in the Hudson River in New York last week is shutting down its operations. The pilot and a family of three who were on a tourist tour over Manhattan died in the accident.
The news that the company New York Helicopter Tours is shutting down comes from the American aviation authority FAA.
"FAA will initiate an immediate review of the tour operator's licenses and safety data", the authority announces.
The aviation safety authority NTSB is also investigating the cause of the helicopter crash. According to information from Jersey City, several causes are being considered, including collision with a drone, birds, or a mechanical failure.
