With 4:40 left in the third period, William von Barnekow put Malmö up 2–1 at home against Djurgården.
It was a direct shot that gave them the victory and tied the series 1–1.
But it was a goal that should not have been allowed, SHL referee Tomas Thorsbrink told Aftonbladet.
It is clear and obvious on the TV images that it was offside. It is a matter of judgment and the referees made a different decision.
That's what I see, and I'm convinced the referees noted that afterwards too.
The first match was also decided by an incorrect goal, when Djurgården's Anton Frondell scored 3–2 in extra time.
The series is played in a best-of-three format and will be decided on Saturday, when Malmö will once again be at home.
