It's not going well for David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig in the Beach Volleyball World Championships. But despite two straight losses, they will continue playing in Adelaide.

The Swedish Olympic gold medalists suffered their second straight loss in the group stage on Sunday, 1-2 in sets in a tight match against the Brazilian pair George/Saymon.

The loss scores were 22–24, 21–12, 12–15.

It's sad that we lost because I think we played a better match than we did yesterday. We really had a chance in both the first and third sets. So it feels bad, says Hellvig according to SVT.

We're a bit lousy in attack sometimes, we lose a few balls in a row we shouldn't lose.

Åhman and Hellvig finish the group stage with one win and two losses but still advance to the World Cup, finishing third in group.

The preparation for the World Championships has been disrupted by a knee injury to David Åhman and the pair have not competed on the world tour since August.
