Two wolves have formed a territory between Söderköping and Valdemarsvik, the Östergötland County Administrative Board announces.
The territory, called Storlången, has been confirmed using tracking, photographs and DNA analyses.
"We have been following the wolves for some time, and now that we see that these two are marking territory together, we can classify them as a marking pair," says wildlife officer Lovisa Häggström in a press release.
