"Vicious and disgusting," Sabrina Carpenter said of the White House's use of her music in a video mocking immigrants. Now it has been quietly taken down — and replaced by another, USA Today reports.

The video showed clips of people being chased and arrested by the immigration agency ICE to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter's song "Juno."

"This video is evil and disgusting. Never use me or my music to further your inhumane agenda," Carpenter wrote on X earlier this week.

The White House mockingly responded with references to another of the pop star's songs that it would not apologize for the deportations. But on Friday, the clip was quietly taken down from social media.

On the same day, the White House published a new video with Carpenter in which she, in a clip from the comedy program "Saturday Night Live", says that she should arrest her co-star because he is so attractive - but where the word "attractive" has been replaced with "illegal".

US authorities have angered several famous artists by using their creations for controversial social media videos without permission.

As recently as Friday, the film company Zentropa demanded that the Trump administration remove a clip featuring Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen that is being used to threaten people without a residence permit.
