SMHI warns of even more snow in the Stockholm area and large parts of southern and central Sweden. There is also a yellow warning for sudden icy patches in parts of Götaland.

Western and inner Svealand as well as eastern Svealand, northeastern Östergötland and southernmost Gästrikland are affected by a yellow warning for snowfall on Wednesday.

Stockholm, Uppsala, Norrköping and Örebro are some of the cities expected to be hit by occasional heavy snowfall on Wednesday. A total of 5 to 15 centimeters of snow is expected, and SMHI warns that visibility may be poor on the roads in some places. There is also a risk of delayed or cancelled trains.

At the same time, milder air is expected, and the snow may be heavy and wet, in several places even mixed with rain.

There has already been a yellow warning for sudden ice slips in southern Sweden from Skåne and Blekinge north to Halland and the Gothenburg region.
