Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warns of escalating counterattacks.
"Russia can end its war at any time. Prolonging the war will only result in us expanding our defense efforts," the president said in a statement via social media.
Ukrainian forces are reported to have attacked three oil tankers that Zelenskyy said belong to the Russian shadow fleet, one in Primorsk and two at the entrance to the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
A Russian warship capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles has also been knocked out in Primorsk, according to Zelenskyy. Export terminals in the region have been hit in several Ukrainian attacks in recent weeks.
In other attacks on the Russian side of the front line on Sunday, two people were killed in the Belgorod region, one person outside Moscow and a teenager in Russian-occupied territory in southern Ukraine. In Russian attacks on Ukraine, two people were killed in the Odesa region, one person in the Kherson region and another in the city of Dnipro.
