On Thursday, Sweden crushed Switzerland 8–1. Six first-team debutants accounted for all the goals. Among them were World Cup winners Ivar Stenberg and Viggo Björck.
Against the Czech Republic in their second match of the tournament, the teenagers found the net again.
Former Frölunda player Ivar Stenberg opened the scoring after five minutes.
The Czech Republic then tied the game with the only goal in the second period.
Then Tre Kronor stepped on the gas in the third.
Luleå's Isac Hedqvist made it 2–1, Djurgården's Viggo Björck scored the 3–1 goal and Lausanne's Erik Brännström put the final nail in the coffin.
Tre Kronor will meet Finland on Sunday, before the Beijer Hockey Games in Ängelholm from May 7–10.
