This summer, they won the Sailing Grand Slam (formerly the World Cup) in the future Olympic Games waters off Los Angeles - after being on the podium in 13 of the 15 competitions.
"Developed a lot"
I wanted to make the decision calmly. But there was perhaps a small thought of inviting Ebba, says Vilma Bobeck.
There is a lot of sailing talent in Sweden, but it was a very obvious choice to sail with her.
The decision means, at the same time, that Ebba Berntsson is breaking up the collaboration with Klara Utterström, with whom she has sailed in recent years.
Vilma and I have sailed together before and it has always been very fun, says Ebba Berntsson.
Since then, we have both developed a lot, so I also thought it was very obvious to say yes.
