The 22-year-old has quickly become an important player in Tony Gustavsson's national football team, as several veterans have retired (Magdalena Eriksson, Linda Sembrant) while others have been injured (Nathalie Björn).
But now Elma Juntilla Nelhage herself is unavailable. The center-back has missed Lyon's last four matches.
It's a muscle injury at the front, up by the hip, she tells DN.
She has important matches ahead of her. Lyon play the Champions League final against Barcelona next weekend, and in just under three weeks World Cup qualifying will be decided with matches against Denmark and Italy.
Hopefully I can get back to training by next week. But it hasn't been possible to predict fully.
