The attack took place outdoors on Thursday morning last week, near a school in Viksjö centrum in Järfälla, northwest of Stockholm. The incident prompted the municipality to urge parents with children in primary school to accompany them to and from school in the coming days.
The prosecutor tellsP4 Stockholm that the person was arrested and detained on Wednesday, on probable cause suspected of aggravated rape of a child.
On Wednesday, a person who had been detained in the case, suspected of aggravated rape of a child, was released. This after the prosecutor no longer considered the person a suspect when "new circumstances emerged."
