Footage published by London-based Iran International shows a large crowd chanting anti-regime slogans outside a university in Tehran.

Video clips obtained by the AFP news agency also show protesters clashing at one of the capital's leading technical universities, where students can be heard shouting "bi-sharaf," meaning "shameful".

This week, several memorial services have been held in Iran to mark the 40th day since thousands of people were killed in anti-regime demonstrations, in accordance with the Shiite tradition of mourning. In many places, these have become opportunities to once again express dissatisfaction with the regime.
