Kanye West wanted to perform at a football stadium in Basel on June 26, but the football club FC Basel, which is responsible for the concerts at the stadium, has chosen not to proceed with the concert request, Swiss media report. FC Basel says in a statement that the decision was made "in accordance with our values."
This week, West's planned concerts in Poland and France have been canceled after the countries' governments signaled that they wanted to stop him from performing.
The British government has also announced that the artist will not be granted a visa to play three nights in a row during a festival in the country.
