Chwalinska is only the second female qualifier in the history of the Grand Slam tournament to reach the semifinals. There, she will face 25th-seeded Russian Diana Shnaider, who also won convincingly - against world number one Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.
"I'm just trying to be here and now and not think about what's next. But after the tournament is over, I'll have time to reflect on everything I've done. I'm grateful for everything that's happened and I'll let the joy sink in," says Chwalinska.
