New Russian attacks on Ukraine kill 2, injure 35 and involve 131 drones

Two people have been killed and 35 injured by Russian attacks in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to local authorities, Kyiv Independent writes.

Russia has sent 131 drones against Ukraine in the past 24 hours. Of these, 22 made it through and hit 15 locations.

Damage to buildings and infrastructure is reported from several locations in the country.

Drones have also reportedly attacked targets in Russia. The pro-regime Russian news agency Interfax reports that two oil tankers in the Russian Krasnodar Krai near the Crimean peninsula are on fire after a drone attack.

According to reports, the fire covers an area of approximately 2,000 square meters and around 70 people are participating in the extinguishing work. There are no reports of injuries.
